Bean, Lee L. (1933-)
American Sociologist. Economist and demographer he has been professor and head of the sociology department at the University of Utah, USA since 1987. From 196768 he was an advisor on demography at the Institute of Development Economics in Pakistan. From 1968 to 1972, he served as the Population Council's assistant director for the Middle East in the Demographic Division, New York.
