at my local music shop, it is $16 a lesson. Adding up to $64 or $80 a month. Hope i helped!

My lessons are about $23 dollars per lesson. And I get about 4 or 5 lessons a month. I go every Monday.

Since you're just wanting to learn the basics, you won't necessarily need a professional to teach you. I don't think I'd pay more than $15-20 an hour. For comparison, I took lessons a couple years ago at $60 an hour but my teacher was a first-class classical musician who travelled around the world to play.
