okay i got my first guitar yesterday, and even though ill be taking guitar courses in high school this fall. Im still wondering about doing some other lessons too. I was just wondering how much guitar lessons cost. Im a begginer, and i would be playing an acoustic guitar......If anyone has any info on the rate plz tell. me!!!!

look around ur town and see if theres diffrent places and compare prices.if all to expenseve then i guess get something to teach ur self.

well first you should learn some chords then start to play and soon it'll be easy.

It all really depends on the teacher and where you're taking lessons. My friend took guitar lessons at a place called Jet Laundry's and they charge 20 dollars for a half hour lesson, but they made her pay a month in advance so if she cancelled any lessons she still had to pay. Maybe you could find a senior student at school who would give you extra guitar help for a low rate or for free ! You never know, they might be looking for volunteer hours !good luck :)

It really depends on where you live.teachers charge diffent prices.It depends on what kind of lessons.My advice would to google in your area, and see what the going rate is.Then go with the cheapest price.Some offer discounts.

Good for you! I love playing guitar.If i were you i would first wait and see what the course is like. That will also give a head start, if you did get lessons. Then you would be able to get started on a little bit harder stuff!On price it depends on the place. Where i when it was $12 an hour. It doesn't seem like much, but it adds up!Good luck with guitar!
