I started playing by picking up books, but then i took a class at the local community college which helped me ALOT. As far as reading the stuff you posted thats not too difficult. The first part just has the chords listed for the song. So take Em (E minor) chord, it says 02203 (which btw doesnt look like an Em chord to me but thats another convo) each number corresponds to a string on the guitar. The first number is the low E string (the thickest one) the 2nd number is for the A string (the one right under the thickest string) and it goes on like that till you get to the 6th number which corresponds with the E string which is the thinest and last string. The number that is in that slot tells you where to fret the string, so if the number is 0 then it is an open string(you dont press down on it with ur left hand), if it a 1 then you press down on that string in the first fret of the guitar and it kind of goes on from there. if there is an x in any of the slots that just means that the string is muted or you dont hit that string at all. Now that you have all that look back at the Em chord you have there. It says the chord is 022030. So the way you would play that on the guitar is the top string (low E) is open, The A string you have to press down on the string at the 2nd fret. You would do the same for the D string since that is a 2 as well. The G string is open since it has a 0. The B string you would have to press down on the string on the 3rd fret and the E string(the thinest one) is open. The other chords in that list have the x in the first slot so that means you dont hit the low E string. Those chords shouldnt give you too much trouble, except for the Cm7 chord which is a barred chord. A bar chord is a chord where you have to lay ur index finger over all six strings so that they are all fretted and then you use the rest of ur fingers to hit the other positons for the chord. So if Cm7 is x35543, You would have to bar the 3rd fret with ur index finger then use ur other fingers to fret the other three strings. Those take a bit of finger strength but luckily the farther away the bar is from the head of the guitar the easier it is to bar it. If you dont bar it right the whole chord will sound muted. Since you said you play an electric, the bar chords should be easier to play. Compared to an acoustic guitar, you dont need to press down on the strings as hard on an electric so that should help somewhat. Rest of the stuff just tells you which order to play the chords. Such as the intro/verse you would play the Em chord first then the Am Chord.Hopefully this helps and if ya need anymore help feel free to ask
